Beschreibung

In meiner Forschung motiviert mich, ein besseres Verständnis von (Un-)Gleichheit in demokra­tischen Entscheidungsprozessen und (In-)Stabilität demokratischen Regierens zu entwickeln. Forschungsfragen, welche mich interessieren, sind unter anderem: Was motiviert das Handeln von Abgeordneten? Auf welchen Stufen des parlamentarischen Entscheidungsprozesses entsteht Ungleichheit für Frauen und Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund und warum ist dies der Fall? Wie interagieren Parlament und Regierung? Sowie, welche strukturellen und individuellen Faktoren bedingen die Fähigkeit von Regierungsoberhäuptern, Regierungsgeschäfte effizient zu führen und demokratisch verantwortbar zu agieren? Artikel, welche die Ergebnisse dieser Forschung präsentieren, wurden in international angesehenen Fachzeitschriften wie Comparative Political Studies, Journal of European Public Policy, European Journal of Political Research, Politics & Gender, Government and Opposition, und Representation veröffentlicht.
