Vita

Kerstin Thummes, Dr., is a professor for organizational communication at the University of Greifswald. She has worked as an assistant professor for strategic communication at the University of Münster, Germany and as researcher and lecturer at the University of Fribourg and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Her research interests cover the fields of ethics and moral decision making in organisational communication, participation in organizations, power and public discourse, deception and credibility in strategic communication, dialogic theory and corporate responsibility communication. She published in International Journal of Strategic Communication, Public Relations Review and Journal of Communication Management.

Kerstin Thummes is currently editor of the ICA affiliated journal SCM - Studies in Communication and Media. Before, she was chair of the Public Relations Division of the German Communication Association (DGPuK).
