Study option BachelorPlus (International)

Because studying in Greifswald now combines the advantages of learning and living in a small university town that boasts a family atmosphere with the international experience of studying in other twons and discovering new cultures.
From October 2019, the University of Greifswald will be offering a four-year version of the Bachelor's degree course in Political Science. This so-called BachelorPlus (International) supplements the modules of the regular three-year Bachelor's degree course with an additional period of stay abroad of one year. Students can choose from a large number of European partner universities in Scandinavia, the Baltic States and southern and eastern Europe. Our programme coordinator in Greifswald will be on hand to advise you at every step of the planning process: they will help you with your choice of modules, administrative and logistical tasks and will also put you in touch with the partner university you have chosen. Meanwhile, in preparation for your period of stay abroad, you can improve your language skills in the English-language seminars that form part of every Political Science module at Greifswald.
