Degree structure of Organisational Communication

The degree course is spread over four semesters, with three modules, each worth 10 credit points, being completed in each of the first three semesters. During the first two semesters, you will complete two compulsory modules on fundamental topics (Modules 1 & 2). These modules allow you to address both the theories and methods of organisational communication, providing you with a solid foundation for your master’s studies.

You are free to choose your compulsory elective and supplementary modules to refine your areas of specialisation. There is a total of 12 modules to choose from that are described in more detail on the German page [de]. For example, if you are interested in social organisations and would like to extend your own rhetoric and communication skills, choose modules three, seven and nine. Overall, you have to make sure that you plan your studies so that you complete nine modules. The fourth semester is intended for your master’s dissertation including colloquium and defence. Further information about the regulations and module descriptions can be found in the Studienordnung (Study Regulations).
