International Exchange

Studying abroad

We are very pleased that you are interested in studying abroad! You will find all the relevant information for this undertaking here.

A semester or a year abroad opens up completely new perspectives - for your studies as well as for your life. In addition to acquiring new academic perspectives, you can strengthen your language skills and establish new international contacts. Finally, international experience is a top qualification for the workplace.

In general, there are two options for studying abroad: self-employment at a university abroad and participation in an exchange program (e.g. ERASMUS + or bilateral agreements between universities).

Under ERASMUS + it is possible to study at universities in the European Higher Education Area. A list of our partner universities as well as information on the application process can be found here.

Our university also has university partnerships outside of ERASMUS + where you can study. Information on where to study outside the European Higher Education Area can be found here.

It should be noted that your study abroad should begin about 12-18 months ahead of time. You are very welcome to contact your specialist coordinator for information and questions, as well as to plan a study abroad.
